To preserve the traditional Japanese paddies.

In the spring of 2011 on the 300th year of Niida-honke the Great East Japan Earthquake strikes.
After days of ceased operation and deep thoughts, we decide to stand up and pass down the heritage to our future generations, 100 years down the road.
Once we have made the decision, it seemed as if the whole weight on our shoulder had already been lifted.
On that day, we all gathered in front of a sake barrel, right after the fermentation and waiting to be wrung.
Neither sake brewing nor one’s dream can be achieved by oneself only.
